PAR

In collaboration with Participatory Action & Research (PAR), a dedicated team of college student researchers, I art-directed the development of a comprehensive toolkit designed to support undocumented students through the college matriculation process. This project involved crafting visually engaging and effective content, resulting in a high-quality resource that has been widely adopted by high schools across NYC.

EDITORIAL ART DIRECTION DESIGN

Problem

Undocumented students often face significant challenges and a lack of resources when navigating the college application process. Beyond limited resources, there are also no visually appealing materials that help students easily grasp the necessary information.

Solution

As the art director and designer, I led the effort to develop visually appealing and effective content that resonates with our target audience, presenting new ways to look at the college application process. Now, educators, counselors, undocu-friendly organizations, parent(s)/guardian(s), and other young people use the toolkit to support undocumented students in pursuing higher education.
